Old Guard Veterans Appreciation – 16 million Americans served in WWII, less than 1 million survive today. Often called the “Greatest Generation,” World War II Veterans are dying at a rate of almost 600 per day in America. We have freedom and democracy throughout the world today because of them.

Texas Heroes Celebration. On Sept 10th & 11th Gold Star Dads will be Celebrating. That’s right, we will be celebrating the lives of 6,884 remarkable young men & women. Patriots from every corner of this great nation who answered the call after we were attacked. The average age; 20 years 2 months. Americans from every political, social, economical and religious cross section. Because that’s how we raise them in America
For the rest of the nation September 11, 2016 marks the 15th Anniversary of the deadliest attack on America since Pearl Harbor. But for Gold Star Families it also marks the beginning of a journey of incredible selflessness by America’s finest young men & women. Over Six Thousand (6,884) American soldiers, our children, have died in Iraq & Afghanistan since that September morning. Continue reading
