Shepherds on Steel join Gold Star Dads to Rock Ellington Field Joint Air Base!
Volunteers from the Shepherds on Steel and representatives from several other East Texas Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) chapters came together to help Gold Star Dads volunteer staff rock not ONE but TWO different unit events on the Joint Reserve Base. Also present were Gold Star parents; Dana & Dawn Stewart, Lewis & Susie Miller and their Granddaughter Shelby, Michael & Lynn Klasno and their Granddaughter London.

Super Bowl Party 2017 at Camp Hope was a huge success! The party was memorable, the food was great and very plentiful and Gold Star Dads gave away a bunch of swag and cash.
Gold Star Dads & Camp Hope Rock the Super Bowl
Approximately 60 residents and guests packed the recreation room to watch what many sports experts predicted would be a blow out. Boy were they wrong. Although Tom Brady and the New England Patriots did eek out an overtime victory over the Atalanta Falcons 34 – 28 this turned out to be one of the better Super Bowls in recent memory. The Gold Star Dads Secret Santa Project
Well, another year has come and gone and Gold Star Dads of America has been blessed by 100’s of volunteers and donors throughout the year so it was time to give back a little. By comparison to other years Secret Santa Project 2016 was small in its reach but equally powerful in the impact it made on deserving families.

Old Guard Veterans Appreciation – 16 million Americans served in WWII, less than 1 million survive today. Often called the “Greatest Generation,” World War II Veterans are dying at a rate of almost 600 per day in America. We have freedom and democracy throughout the world today because of them.
